  2. Test EVSE output voltage: measure L1 and L2 at J1772 handle during connection attempt (should read 240V L-L, 120V L-N)
  3. Measure AC input voltage at charge port pins 1 and 2 while EVSE connected — if voltage present at port but absent at OBC input, suspect charge port wiring
  4. Check proximity pilot (PP) resistance at charge port: should be ~150 ohm for valid J1772 connection
