Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By registering an account or using HVDesk ("Service"), you ("Client", "Shop") agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

HVDesk is a service registered in Austria. These terms are governed by Austrian law.

Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Vienna, Austria.

2. Service Description

HVDesk provides remote technical consulting for electric vehicle diagnostics. Our specialists review case submissions from automotive repair shops and provide written diagnostic procedures, root cause analysis, and step-by-step guidance.

HVDesk provides technical advice only. The licensed repair shop is solely responsible for all physical repair work, safety procedures, and compliance with local regulations. Nothing in our diagnostic output constitutes a guarantee of outcome.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for professional automotive repair shops and qualified technicians. By registering, you confirm that you are a business entity or professional, not a private consumer.

4. Account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One account per shop. You may not share accounts between unrelated businesses.
• You must provide accurate registration information.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Case Submissions

• Your first case is free. Subsequent cases require credits purchased via Stripe.
• You agree to provide accurate, complete information. Incomplete or misleading submissions may result in delays or incorrect guidance.
• Response time is targeted at within 24 hours on business days. This is a target, not a guarantee.
• We may request additional information or measurements before providing a diagnostic response.
• Files uploaded must be relevant to the case. You may not upload illegal content.

6. Payment

• Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing credits, you agree to Stripe's terms.
• Credits are non-refundable once a case response has been delivered.
• If a case cannot be resolved due to insufficient information provided by the client, no refund is issued.
• All prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. EU businesses may be subject to reverse charge.

7. Intellectual Property

Diagnostic responses provided by HVDesk are for your shop's internal use only. You may not resell, republish, or distribute our diagnostic content without written permission.

Case data and vehicle information you submit remains your property.

8. Limitation of Liability

HVDesk provides technical consulting. We are not liable for:

• Physical repairs performed based on our guidance
• Injuries, vehicle damage, or financial loss resulting from repair work
• Inaccuracies in diagnostic output due to incomplete or incorrect information provided by the client
• Service interruptions

Our total liability in any case is limited to the amount paid for the specific case in question.

9. High-Voltage Safety

Electric vehicle diagnostics involve high-voltage systems that are potentially lethal. HVDesk's diagnostic output is intended for use by qualified technicians only. Always follow manufacturer HV safety procedures. HVDesk accepts no liability for injuries arising from HV work.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access other users' data
• Submit automated or fraudulent case submissions
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Reverse-engineer or scrape the platform

11. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. You may request account deletion by emailing support@hvdesk.com. Unused credits are forfeited upon voluntary account deletion.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users by email for material changes.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by Austrian law. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Vienna, Austria. For EU consumers, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.
